Dr. Sarah Richter

An experienced Instructional Leader & Coach, Curriculum & Instruction Specialist, and Data Analyst, I bring over two decades of diverse experience in public education, including rural and urban, traditional and non-traditional settings. My work has centered around supporting diverse student populations—ranging from at-risk youth and students with special needs to English language learners and those in advanced placement programs.

My academic contributions include research on classroom technology management, trauma-informed education, and the impact of COVID-19 on Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education (SLIFE). I am also a co-author of Ohio Under Covid: Lessons from America's Heartland in Crisis, in collaboration with University of Cincinnati humanities scholars.

Following 20 years as a high school mathematics teacher, I transitioned into administration as an instructional coaching. My coaching experience has extended well beyond math, supporting content areas such as AP Government, English Language Arts, American Sign Language, World Languages, and cross-categorical SPED. One of my first coaching partners is now recognized as Ohio’s Teacher of the Year.

I was honored with the High Schools That Work Award for implementing a collaborative coaching model with a data and assessment coach. Currently, I serve as a Math/Science Instructional Coach and have already seen measurable success, with notable gains in iReady and Pro-Core performance compared to previous years.
